Dr. Mohamad Wassim Al Akkad

Dr. Mohamad Wassim Al Akkad earned his DDS from the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Baath University in Syria in 2002. His dedication to advancing his expertise in dental care led him to pursue a postgraduate degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Damascus in 2004 . Driven by a deep interest in creating healthy, confident smiles, he later completed a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics at Toulouse University in France in 2008.

With over 17 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Dr. Al Akkad has built a strong foundation in orthodontics and pediatric care. His diverse training allows him to treat both children and adults, combining functionality and aesthetics in every treatment plan. He is also certified by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) and licensed as a General Practitioner in Canada, enabling him to deliver comprehensive dental care in a wide range of clinical settings.

Lovingly referred to as “Dr. Wassim” who is known for his calm and caring demeanor, Dr. Al Akkad fosters trust and confidence in his patients. He takes the time to understand their needs and creates a comfortable, welcoming environment for every visit. His approach emphasizes building lasting relationships based on respect, honesty, and individualized care.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Al Akkad enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their three children.
